The Strand Hotel
Description provided by property
This landmark property is operated by a well-known international brand and is probably the best and the most expensive hotel in Yangon. This gem is an intimate, colonial-styled hotel that was restored to its original glory in the 1990s. Staying true to this mission, there is no swimming pool or fitness center. That said, the furnishings and teakwood floors are fantastic. Something else you won't find here is a front desk, as guests who arrive are taken directly to their rooms. Each guest has a private butler who waits outside the door just down the hallway. Rooms are beautiful and are also spacious with large walk-in closets. The Strand Hotel is indeed an excellent place of stay.
